A Sustainable Source of Biomass
In these orchards, lychee trees are regularly pruned and renewed to maintain productivity and fruit quality. As part of that cycle, aged branches from around 10 to 20 years are cut and removed. Instead of being wasted, these mature branches become a valuable raw material for charcoal production.
